Despite what the moniker might imply, Invisigoth is a band that largely defies conventional descriptions. Formed in 2006 by multi-instrumentalist Cage and vocalist Viggo Domino, the Invisigoth ethos is really about ignoring genres and labels, and instead embracing the larger entity that is music itself.
Cage and Viggo believe that any form of music they wish to tackle can easily fall under the Invisigoth umbrella and it is this sense of liberation that allows their visions free reign. Nothing is off limits and anything can be possible. Their music can be epic, cinematic and sweeping one moment and textural, moody and atmospheric the next. In turn, their lyrics can be socially relevant one moment and darkly comic the next.
