Progressive Rock > Alias Eye
Alias Eye was founded in late 1998. After writing a repertoire of songs and playing live extensively, the band recorded their first demo CD, 'Beyond The Mirror', in 1999, which was very well received by the international press. Over the next ten years, the band released three full albums - 'Field of Names', 'A Different Point of You' and 'In Focus' - all of which got rave reviews from the international press and progressive rock fans alike. As a result, Alias Eye was invited to play at progressive rock festivals in Germany, Holland, Sweden, and the US. In 2004, the band supported the Canadian band Saga on the German leg of their European tour (16 dates, more than 17,000 music fans). After a number of lineup changes, the band began recording their fourth studio album, 'In-Between', in 2011. Mixed and mastered at the renowned, state of the art HOFA Studios, 'In-Between' combines complex melodies with symphonic keyboards, opulent choir arrangements and heavy guitar riffs. The album will be released by Quixote Records and Progrock Records USA in March 2012.
