Press > TEN POINT TEN RE-RELEASES CHRISTMAS ALBUM “12 25”
31 Jul 2011
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – 31 October 2005 – Ten Point Ten, with ProgRock Records, is pleased to announce the re-issue of their popular progressive Christmas album “12 25” (referring to the date of Christmas). Inspired by overwhelming feedback from their five song Christmas EP released in 2000, Ten point Ten rewarded their fans in 2003 with “12 25”, a brilliantly executed full length Christmas CD containing a mix of original and classic Christmas material in a style that is inspired by groups such as Kansas, Yes, and Genesis. At times epic in its scope, and at times transcendent in it’s beautiful simplicity, this album embraces the Christmas message with artistry that defies the cliché typically associated with this genre of music.
Classifying a band, or its music, can be a tough thing to do. Formed in the mid-90’s and influenced by several decades of contemporary music, Ten point Ten's sound is an interesting and fresh combination of old and new. Lyrically, they tend to focus on the struggles and real-life experiences that challenge one’s faith. Musically, they are a mix of modern and progressive rock to create something truly unique for the listener.
“12 25” is available for immediate ordering from http://www.therecordlabel.net/progressive-rock/ten-point-ten/12-25/. Pre-sales will ship in mid-November and general brick and mortar stores by early December 2005.
